In June I made a trip to the Family History Library in Salt Lake City, UT,  My main concentration was to establish the parents of Margaret Stevenson Hutchins.  Unfortunately,  after searching for a Will or Probate file, my search was unsuccessful.

     I stopped in Omaha and made a visit to Avais, our 90 year old cousin of my mother.  I enjoyed our visit, and wished I could have stayed longer.

     I recently expanded the line on Hayson/Young/Lovelady/Wear.  Thomas Lovelady who married Jane Wear is part of the same family of Mrs. Walt Disney and Jim Henson.  Jane Wear Lovelady was the daughter of John Wear and Nancy Moore.  John was in the Revolutionary War and participated in the Siege of Yorktown and the capture of Cornwallis.  John Wear and his brother Col. Samuel Wear/Weir's history is well documented in the history of Sevier County, Tennessee, the home of Dolly Pardon.
